I will arrive to Vietnam around July18 by land through Laos and leave around one week latter by Cambodia. Does your visa approval work for land enter to Vietnam like my case?

Going out of Hanoi airport during transfer
Hello, I'm going flying from Shanghai to Paris in august and I have a transfer in Hanoi, Vietnam. The transfer time is 4 hours and I was wondering if I can get out of the airport just to take some pictures. I read that i will probably need a Viatnam visa right? But is it possible to get the visa if I will only use it for about 1 or 2 hours. And can I get it at the airport, how much does it cost? | |

Will the visa still be valid if I enter the country on a bus from Cambodia rather than fly? Also, as I am travelling I am not sure on the exact date I will be arriving in Vietnam - does this matter when filling out the form?
