Hi there, I am travelling to Vietnam at some stage in October and need a visa. Howeve I will not be travelling by plane, I will most likely enter the country by land or boat. Am I still able to apply for a visa on your website if I travel into the country like this?

Visa-on-arrival is not available to boat entry, so you need to contact a nearest Vietnamese embassy to get your visa beforehand. It is strongly recommended that you apply for a visa in an Asian country to save your money. For example, getting a Vietnamese visa in Cambodia saves you at least 50 USD in compared to getting a visa from US or UK.
