I have just finished filling out (and paying for) 2 visa’s but all the instructions keep referring to arriving in Vietnam by Air, which my partner and I are not, we are coming in via bus, will this visa still be applicable? Regards Alyx Burges

Be kindly informed that Vietnam visa on arrival is applied to those travelling to Vietnam by air ONLY. If you enter Vietnam by other ways, you must apply for your visa at the Vietnam embassy.
